In this term, we have read a horror book called Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. In class, our teacher asked us questions about the different chapters in the book. We also have done two questionnaires from the Internet and a reading test. Finally, Noelia, Mario and myself have investigated about the life of Mary Shelley, we have written the information in a powerpoint and we have recorded a video representing 'The wedding night'.

Thanksgiving
First at all, I have to say that I am a very lucky girl.
I am thankful for being healthy and having a wonderful family. They support me and help me every time I need it. I love them very much!
I am also thankful for having fantastic friends. They are cheerful, honest, reliable and sympathetic. I enjoy a lot with them because they always make me laugh.
Finally, I want to give thanks to all my teachers. They have taught me that with a persistent attitude we can get anything we want.

My favourite film
Last summer I went to the cinema with some friends and we watched a terror film called 'Expediente Warren'. The film was about two paranormal investigators. They worked to help a family frightened about a dark presence in their new house.
At the end we were very scared but we like this kind of films, so I enjoyed a lot!

Poppy Day
Each year in November, thousands of veterans hit the streets of the Capital for London Poppy Day. A national ceremony takes place at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London. Here is where the Queen lays the first wreath at the Cenotaph:
The poppy reminds us of sacrifices made – both past and present.
Poppies were the first flowers that grew in the battlefields of Flanders in Belgium during World War One and are a symbol of remembrance and hope.
